Breakfast. Well, half of it. The other half of the batch is in the fridge, and I’m going to force myself to drink it whether or not I like it.
For the whole batch, I used a LARGE bunch of organic lacinto kale, 2 large organic bananas, 1.5 cups of thawed organic frozen mixed berries, 2ish cups of water and a tablespoon of raw stevia, and then blended the hell out of it.
The consistency is thick and still a bit chewy but it tastes better than just forcing myself to eat raw kale. I’ve been reading about raw food and paleo a lot lately and it has occurred to me that I am not getting NEARLY enough greens in my diet, and it could possibly be the reason I have a lot of cravings that make me slip up. In fact, humans should be eating like two bunches of greens a day, so if I get down both halves of this green smoothie then I will be halfway there lol. However this bunch was HUGE so maybe more than half. I don’t know. Either way, it’s a start.
Anyway, back to pounding this down while it’s still cold.
